Privacy policy

Lingora does not ask for an email or a password. We save your progress on our servers with an anonymous account.

What we store

• An anonymous account: an internal identifier, a friend code, the name or nickname you choose, an avatar, the country your phone reports and your time zone.
• Device data: operating system (Android or iOS), app version and, when the phone provides it, its model name. We use them to keep your session and to give you support.
• Your progress: lessons, stars, experience, streak, goals, quests, league, coins, gems, hearts and items.
• Your preferences: app language, language you learn and daily goal.
• Your in-game friends, if you add any with their code.

Purchases and subscription

Google Play charges purchases and the Lingora Plus subscription. We use RevenueCat to confirm each purchase with your anonymous identifier and we keep a record: product, date, transaction identifier and whether it was refunded. We never see your payment details.

Ads

Ads are shown by Google AdMob. AdMob may use your phone advertising identifier under Google policy; you can reset or limit it in your phone settings. When you watch a rewarded ad, AdMob notifies us with your anonymous identifier so we can give you the reward and count daily limits.

What we do not collect

• Your email, phone number, precise location, contacts or photos.
• Your voice: the app does not record or send audio.

How we use it

• To save and sync your progress, deliver rewards and purchases, build leagues and leaderboards, and prevent cheating.
• To see overall game statistics. We do not sell your data.
• In leagues and leaderboards other players see your name or nickname, your avatar and your experience.

Children

Lingora is suitable for all ages. We do not ask for personal data and there is no chat between players. Purchases require confirmation from the Google Play account and parents can require approval with Google Family Link.

Deleting your account

In Settings → "Delete my account" your account and all your progress are deleted from our servers right away. You can also ask for it without opening the app from the "Delete account" page (https://lingora.diosesamorporsiempre.cloud/delete-account). Purchase records are kept without your identifier, only for accounting and refunds.
